Brenda Kemp

Veteran Benefits Specialist

Brenda Kemp is a dedicated Veteran Benefits Specialist based in Elgin, SC. With a remarkable 37-year military career, Brenda served in the US Army as an enlisted soldier and Signal Officer before retiring. She brings extensive experience as a Rating Specialist at the Veterans Benefit Administration to her current role. Family is paramount to Brenda, who is married and proudly serves as a Nana to 10 grandchildren. Her 5 children reside in TN and upstate NY, where she cherishes spending time with them. In her leisure time, Brenda finds joy in gardening and has recently taken up quilt making using old t-shirts. A member of the Women Veterans Interactive Foundation and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, Brenda is deeply committed to supporting Veterans. She believes that all Veterans, regardless of their length of service or branch, deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Brenda is passionate about helping Veterans receive the benefits they are entitled to. Brenda's military background extends to her service in the Army Reserves, TN National Guard, and completion of the Army ROTC program at Austin Peay University. With a degree in Special Education and a master's in human resource management, Brenda has a genuine love for assisting people from all walks of life.
