Angela Garrett

Angela Garrett is a dedicated Veteran Service Coordinator for United Veteran Benefits Agency, bringing a wealth of military experience and a passion for serving fellow veterans to her role. Based in Dixon, Missouri, Angela's journey in service began with a six-year active duty stint in the Army, followed by three years in the Army Reserve.

During her time in the military, Angela specialized as a Radiology Specialist (MOS 68P), honing her skills in medical imaging and patient care. Her service took her to various installations, including Fort Jackson, Fort Lewis, and Fort Leonard Wood, providing her with diverse experiences and a broad understanding of military life.

After transitioning from active duty, Angela continued her commitment to public service as a GS employee until June 2022. This experience in the federal government further equipped her with valuable insights into the bureaucratic processes that many veterans navigate.

Angela's home life revolves around her beloved "fur babies": Alexis Marie: A 12-year-old Redbone Hound, Apollo Maximus: A 4-year-old Terrier/Chow mix, and Bella Nichelle: A 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier/Mountain Cur mix. These furry companions provide joy and companionship in her life outside of work.
